yesterday evan woke up with a fever of 101.7. this is the first time he has had any kind of sickness. he stayed at that temp all day. this morning he woke up and was still feverish but had a lower temp of 100.9. we took him to the pediatrician b/c he it didnt seem that he was getting better. the last temp we took read at 102.7...ok time to make an appointment with the pediatrician.
we go to the doc, and they took his temp and it was only at 100. then the doc proceeded to tell us that there was nothing he could do as it seems it is a viral infection. it just has to pass. booooooo! i dont think we have gone to his pediatrician and had a solid answer for anything yet.
he seemed to be doing better today than he did yesterday, and he laughed as we were eating...(laughter...always a good sign). apparently he thinks the word "disgusting" is hilarious.
